I want to know what the name of the "house" with the bright colors on the corner with a deck outside on morningside and university that serves loose teas is called. it's on the same block as the blue hand shop.

"Alabama tourist", you're thinking of Julie Victoria Cafe.

Salento's is just a perfect gathering place - last Friday the music (twosome) was outstanding. Coffee good, ambiance good, wine tasting tempting.

Update your coffee shop listings. You forgot to mention Croissant Brioche on Rice Boulevard, next to FedEx Kinko's and La Madeline on Kirby and University Boulevard. Both are also bakeries. They do not have WiFi but they offer coffee refills. Croissant Brioche is smaller and cozier, La Madeline is roomier and offers lunch and dinner at a reasonable price.

Oh no. Julie Victoria is that place with the colorful walls. Nice patio that pours out in front. Too bad it closed. I sang a song there once.
